Lena and the South

We haven't been here very long but Lena is already picking up the local color. This morning as I got Tage up she said: Tage awake? I said: Yes he is. She said: Hi, bubba.

(Brother= bubba, Sister=sissy)

(earlier this week we were at Lowe's and a little old southern lady asked Lena if Tage was her bubba, so I'm thinking she got it from this experience because we don't use that terminology here)
