Lena turned 2 on Thursday, Nov. 5. I can't believe that I have a 2 year old already. She had a pretty good day.
(Here she is after her birthday bath in her Harley jacket)
She was totally bummed to have to take a nap, but didn't do too badly. My siblings sang Happy Birthday to her when she first got up and she was totally oblivious to what was going on. I think she was confused the whole day when people kept telling her it was her birthday.
(Happy Birthday, Birthday Girl!!)
For dinner she got to eat her weight in tortellini and garlic bread. We skyped my grandparents so they were able to attend her birthday party thanks to webcams and the internet. She was interested in the presents but couldn't open them fast enough so she kept asking for help to get the presents open faster. She made out pretty good. We got her a tricycle and she likes it a lot more than we thought she would.
She keeps calling it Na-na's Seat. She hasn't gotten the hang of pedaling yet, but she LOVES it when you push her around on it.
(Here she is in her new jammies taking one last spin.)
(Here she is the next morning in her new outfit and new shoes.)
(Here is an up close of her cool new shoes. Talk about Bling! Thanks Gamma and Gampa!)

Lena is so beautiful and she looks so grown up in her new birthday clothes. Wish I could give her and Tage a big hug.
Happy Birthday, Lena!
