We have a friend, Claudio, on the Lacrosse team and this was the last home game of the season. We decided that it would be fun to check out. I have never seen lacrosse played before and it was kinda fun trying to guess the rules and keep up with things. Lena had a pretty good time. She spent most of it eating gold fish crackers and giving her dad a dirty look when he took some. She got to see two horses (in the field next to the playing field) and a woo woo woo (dog) that was almost as big as a horse ( have no clue what bred it was, but it's head came up to just below my shoulder!). Claudio's team won, which made it a lot more exciting and it started raining on us at about half time. Lena just looked so cute in her raincoat, that Brett just had to take a ton of pictures of her in it. By the end of the game everything was soaked clear through and we just wanted to be warm so we left with out talking to Claudio. Sorry, dude!
Since we have more than one kid now, I figures "Living with Lena" wasn't entirely accurate. We have always called Lena by the nickname of "Nugget" ever since her first ultrasound picture at something like 10 weeks along. We see Tage as "Nugget #2." So, since I love both of my children, you can call me a "Nugget Lover." And that is why I changed the title of the blog.
