Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Before we got started on making the food, Brett and I took Lena to a park. She has been climbing all over everything lately and so we figured we would take her somewhere where she could go mad. Of course, it back fired. She refused to climb the stairs. She would go floppy and limp every time we tried to get her to go up the stairs. So Brett took her up and put her at the top of the smallest slide. She freaked out and wouldn't go down. So Brett took her down a slightly bigger slide. As you can see, not a huge fan. So then we tried the swings. Brett couldn't even get her in the seat. I had to be mean and do it. Then she really was not happy. (The green links don't go anywhere, this just decided to put them in and nothing I could do would get rid of them. Sorry.)Brett tried swinging with her to see if she would enjoy it then. It worked for a little bit.
She liked swinging better when she was on Mom's lap. Since Lena was being a stinker about playing on the playground, Brett and I decided to play ourselves. Here is Lena at a loss of what to do when she can't reach mom and dad.She started to get a little nervous, so Dad went down to rescue her. We decided to call it a day at that point. Maybe she'll like the park a little later.

Awww, that's so cute! Looks like you guys had fun, but maybe Lena needs to have a few more birthdays before she appreciates the playground, lol. Is that a scarf she's wearing? So cute!!
